Discover Our Garden, Designed in Harmony with the Hotel’s Theme

Part of the garden already existed — it was once a tree nursery.

Together with landscape architect Serge Scheers from Les Jardins Idée-O in Ittre, we sought to preserve as many existing plants as possible, along with the garden’s original soul.

The theme of travel runs through every corner of the landscape. For example, the two rose gardens are inspired by Wellington, New Zealand, while the rock mounds echo the Devils Marbles of the Australian desert — subtle reminders of the journey that inspired Hôtel Koru itself.

More than just a garden, this is a place to pause, breathe, and reconnect.
Every path, flower, and stone has been chosen to evoke calm and curiosity — an invitation to travel inward as much as outward.

Here, nature whispers stories of faraway lands, yet the peace you find belongs entirely to you.

The Garden: The Centrepiece of the Hotel

The garden is the true jewel of Hôtel Koru — a place worth discovering both by day and at night, when it comes alive with soft, enchanting lights.

One of the most beloved areas is the Japanese-inspired garden, featuring gentle waterfalls and rare plants.
Benches and loungers are scattered throughout, inviting you to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Dinner in the garden is also possible, weather permitting.

The garden provides a beautiful setting for special events such as birthdays, weddings, baptisms, communions, or even marriage proposals.
